WIRED VS WIRELESS

Today there are many different types of cameras and systems.  Older analog CCTV systems and today's high definition analog systems use coax cable or siamese cable to connect the cameras.Newer IP camera systems use CAT5 or CAT6 Ethernet wire to connect the cameras to the recorder.

When running wire is difficult, visually ugly or impossible, WiFi cameras can be a great solution.  These cameras require a stable, fast WiFi connection and since they're wireless they can be placed wherever needed and may even be moved as needed.​
